UFS – Utensili Filettatori Sparone – is an Italian company specialized in the design and production of threading tools. For over 75 years, it has operated under its own well-established brand in the industry, offering a complete range of taps, dies and gauges.
The catalogue includes around 8,000 standard items, alongside special tools manufactured to drawing and private label supplies for specialized chains. Its commercial presence is well established across Europe and in many non-European markets, supported by a network of direct agents and continuous after-sales service.
Led by family management, UFS has around 60 people including employees and collaborators. In recent years, the company has invested in new departments, metrology laboratories, testing rooms and computerized production management systems, strengthening an efficient and fully controlled operating model.
Three production plants manufacture over 500,000 tools per year, managing every stage of the cycle in-house: turning, heat treatments, geometries, grinding and PVD coatings. The technical office and R&D department oversee each phase with dedicated tests and checks, ensuring consistent quality and reliable solutions for every application.
