UFS, which stands for Utensili Filettatori Sparone, is an Italian company that has specialized in the production of threading tools for nearly 80 years.
The company, which remains family-owned to this day, employs a total of approximately 60 people, including employees and direct contractors, as well as agents working on behalf of multiple companies.
Three plants make up the entire operational area of UFS. The diversification of activities allows for the optimization of complementary processes throughout the entire production cycle: turning, hardening, and tempering of rough-machined parts, followed by the definition of groove geometries and the grinding of tools, culminating in PVD coatings on the finished "white" products.
At the forefront of the entire production organization is the technical department, which designs the tools with the support of the company's R&D department, which conducts tests and inspections at every stage of the production cycle.
